1.2. Qualification of the installer

A qualified installer is a person who has the following experience and training:

Setting up, switching on, switching off, disconnecting, earthing, short-circuiting and repairing circuits and devices
Standard maintenance and use of protective devices in accordance with current safety standards
First aid/emergency care
Current knowledge of local regulations, standards and guidelines

2. Product description

2.1. Scope of delivery

After you have received the delivery, check that all components have been included. Inspect the scope of delivery for damage. If anything is missing or damaged, please contact the supplier immediately. The following components are included in the delivery:

The installation instructions for heating elements are identical for the FENECON Home and Commercial systems with 2.8 kWh battery modules.

2.2. Prerequisites

The integration of the heating element with 3 kW or 6 kW is required:

FENECON Home or Commercial system with three free relay contacts or
FEMS TCP 8-Channel Relay Board with three free relay contacts (note: not included in the scope of delivery)

The heating element is designed for a tank of at least 160 liters.

Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for assembling the heating element.

Heating elements with an output > 6 kW are available on request.

3. Heating element 3 kW / Heating element 6 kW

The heating element is designed for auxiliary heating of drinking water in closed or open, enameled containers.

The following technical data is for overview purposes only. The manufacturer’s original instructions must be observed (Alpha Thermotec cartridge heaters).
