2. Installing the app

When you ordered the "FEMS App Peak Load Window", you received a 16-digit license key. You can use this license key to redeem the app independently in the FEMS App Center.

3. FEMS App Peak Load Window

The "FEMS App Peak Load Window" can be used to specifically reduce grid consumption at times when the electricity grid is under above-average load. The times depend on the working day, season and grid level and are calculated individually by distribution network operators and also published on the internet.

As soon as the "FEMS App Peak Load Window" has been activated on your FEMS, you will see this widget in your monitoring:

In this view, the measured power value (grid consumption or grid feed-in) at the grid connection point and the two threshold values for storage tank discharging or charging are displayed.

The "Discharge above" and "Charging below" thresholds can be set in the same way as normal Peak Shaving. They define the power value at the grid connection point from which the electrical energy storage should discharge or charge. The function is limited in time by parameterizing a time window. This ensures a time limit for Peak Shaving capping within the high load time window.
